About CloudCon
As CloudCon enters its seventh year, we believe the event is now more vital than ever since its inception in 2020. With its unique location, exceptional sponsors, knowledgeable presenters, and a strong sense of community, CloudCon remains one of the most valuable conferences in the industry. Our unwavering commitment to helping you grow as a security and technical professional, while fostering deeper community engagement, remains at the core of everything we do.
Our goal is for every organization to leave the event in a stronger position, whether it’s in cybersecurity, data center management, technology, or human connectivity by the time we conclude on July 30th. More importantly, we want to encourage genuine connections, where participants can share stories, successes, and lessons learned, while continuing to build this thriving community we’ve nurtured over the years.
What we’re building together is truly special, and we are thrilled you’ve chosen to be part of it. We promise to do everything we can to ensure you have an exceptional experience.

Don’t Forget the Humans
The theme of CloudCon 2026, Don’t Forget the Humans, centers on a truth that is becoming impossible to ignore: technology does not fail in isolation…people, processes, and decisions are always part of the outcome. As organizations accelerate adoption of cloud platforms, AI, automation, and advanced security tooling, the human element is increasingly treated as a risk to be managed rather than a capability to be strengthened. CloudCon 2026 challenges that mindset and refocuses the conversation on designing technology, security, and operations that work with people, not against them.
At the heart of the 2026 agenda is the idea that strong security and resilient systems are built on human-centered design. Zero Trust, AI-driven security, and automated infrastructure only succeed when they are understandable, usable, and aligned with how humans actually work. Rather than assuming humans are the weakest link, we hope to examine how unclear ownership, unrealistic expectations, and disconnected teams create risk long before an attacker ever shows up.
A major focus of the conference is the intersection of security, leadership, culture, and execution. As organizations scale, the gap between strategy and day-to-day reality widens. CloudCon 2026 brings security, IT, engineering, risk, compliance, and business leaders together to discuss how decisions are made, how accountability is shared, and how trust is built internally. From incident response and change management to AI governance and workforce development, the discussions emphasize that sustainable security depends on empowered teams, clear communication, and realistic operational models.
With keynote presenter Joshua Gideon, CloudCon 2026 leans into conversations about ownership, growth, and the human cost of getting security wrong—or right. The conference creates space for honest dialogue about burnout, learning curves, leadership expectations, and the responsibility organizations have to the people running their systems. By bringing together practitioners, leaders, and strategists across technology and business disciplines, CloudCon 2026 reinforces a simple but often forgotten principle: the most advanced technology in the world still depends on humans to design it, operate it, and defend it.
